This year’s Sleep Cheap Charities Reap event is already shaping up to be the hottest one yet – and it has barely started.
About half of the 6,000 or so rooms made available by the 25 participating Niagara Falls hotels were booked Friday, the first day reservations were taken, says event co-ordinator Coun. Jim Diodati. When the hotels opened their phone lines at 7 a.m. Friday, they were swamped with thousands of calls from Niagara residents looking to take advantage of deep discounts, while also helping local charities.
