Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
I took a recent trip to the Niagara region (St. Catherines, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, etc.). That was cool. I got a couple of bottles of wine and some jam and took in the Falls and the tackiness Clifton Hill. It’s always a bizarre sight.
Early yesterday morning I received the latest newsletter from the Marriott Niagara Falls Falsview & Spa. Like most of the hotels in the area, they are promoting Fall packages.

You can subscribe to the newsletter by clicking on the Special Email Offers link on the side of the Marriott Niagara Falls Fallsview & Spa main page.
From the Niagara Gazette:
What’s all this fuss over a two-second spot in a new video that our federal government has released to promote attractions across the U.S.?
The film clip offers a glimpse of the Horseshoe Falls (aka the Canadian Falls) instead of the boulder-choked American and Bridal Veil Falls.
How insulting is that, eh? Isn’t that a slap in the face to Niagara Falls USA? The producers even slighted the 75 yards of U.S. territory that extends from Terrapin Point into the rapids.
Shouldn’t Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have called someone on the carpet for such an unpardonable offense?
Balderdash!
