Rotary cancels Art by the Falls

From the Niagara Falls Review:

For the first time in 16 years, there won’t be any art by the falls this September.

Or anywhere else, for that matter.

With diminishing returns since its move to Optimist Park in 2004, the annual Art by the Falls show has called it a day. The Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise pulled the plug after last year’s disappointing show barely covered its expenses.

“It’s a business decision,” said the Rotary Club’s Jamie Caswell. “Since we moved the show from the (Niagara) Parks Commission property to the Optimist Club, the show fell off.
