More on filming on Clifton Hill

Yesterday I mentioned that there was some filming going on. It didn’t appear that they had anything setup, but there was lots of equipment around. Today they are actually filming something in the courtyard area between Boston Pizza, Tim Hortons and the Niagara SkyWheel. It appears to be some sort of Bollywood film. There was a girl singing (lipsyncing) and while I was there they did the same thing 4 or 5 times.

Jim Mitchell’s Blog: Our first family vacation

Here is a brief Blogger posting where a man describes his family’s trip to Niagara Falls

Last week the three of us took off to Niagara Falls for a few days. It was great, Brydon had such a good time. One we got settled in, we started our vacation going in and out of the shops on the way down Clifton Hill.

Falls Avenue Newsletter #11

On Sunday I received the latest issue of the Falls Avenue Newsletter (the last one I got was #9, so I’m not sure what happened to #10). They are promoting several different packages. At the bottom of the newsletter, they also have a Travel Deals section where they highlight several good airfares. This is a good idea.

Filming on Clifton Hill

I’m not sure what it was for, but there was some filming going on yesterday on Clifton Hill. When I was by, there was a bunch of people and equipment outside Boston Pizza and by the concessions underneath Boston Pizza (Spuds and Sweets & Treats).

Most of the people standing around seemed to be of middle-eastern descent (Indian, Pakistani, etc). I don’t know where they were from or what they were filming.
