A while ago there was a building torn down between Mama Mia’s and Tussaud’s. Over the last few weeks some work has started. Concrete has been poured and people were there working on something today. I’m still not clear on what’s going in there.

All things Niagara Falls tourism…

As I mentioned yesterday, just in time for the slowdown in business, Bronto’s Adventure Playland is open. I’m not sure when it opened, but it was open yesterday (Labour Day). However when I was by today, it was closed. I guess there are still some things they need to finish up on. I have a few passes and should be going with my kids later this week so I’ll post about it more then.

From the Niagara Falls Review:
A union representing local hotel workers brought its lethal weapon - actor Danny Glover - to town Monday for a march and rally that drew more than 400 people and impeded traffic in an already busy tourist section.
Glover, best known as Mel Gibson’s sidekick in the “Lethal Weapon” movies, took part in the Labour Day event hosted by the Unite Here union’s Niagara Falls local.
It began at Hunter and Union streets and ended in front of the Sheraton-on-the-Falls hotel, owned by Canadian Niagara Hotels which is experiencing strained labour relations with the union.
