Actor Glover leads hotel union rally

    From the Niagara Falls Review:

A union representing local hotel workers brought its lethal weapon – actor Danny Glover – to town Monday for a march and rally that drew more than 400 people and impeded traffic in an already busy tourist section.

Glover, best known as Mel Gibson’s sidekick in the “Lethal Weapon” movies, took part in the Labour Day event hosted by the Unite Here union’s Niagara Falls local.

It began at Hunter and Union streets and ended in front of the Sheraton-on-the-Falls hotel, owned by Canadian Niagara Hotels which is experiencing strained labour relations with the union.
