Today is the Labour Day holiday in Canada and the United States, and this marks the unofficial end of summer. If kids aren’t back in school yet, they will be tomorrow. Business during the week slows down, but the weekends are still busy. The next big holiday is in about a month, Canadian Thanksgiving, and then a month after that is American Thanksgiving.

Today is a beautiful day and there seems to be a lot of people here. As I was out and around today, I noticed that Bronto’s Adventure Playland is finally open (I’ll post a picture tomorrow). Perfect timing… open just in time for business to slow down.

Nooooooooo!!! This is one of the worst times for people like me who are summer obsessed. But at least our friends here can enjoy reasonable prices to visit us.

I think we’re all a little summer obscessed.
It’s warm out, sunny, and you can enjoy the sites of Niagara Falls at your leisure.

Autumn is ok, as the leaves change… winter can be beautiful, IF there is snow… but it’s cold, and spring is just wet & cold.

It feels like Memorial Day was just kicking off summer, and now Labor Day is overwith & the tourism season is finished. I hope NF Canada enjoyed a surge in attendance (compared with 2006) with its great weather all summer long.
