The Doubletree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton-Niagara Falls here has earned a Three Green Key Eco-Rating from the Hotel Association of Canada.
The program is a voluntary program designed to recognize hotels that have taken significant steps towards sustainability through participation in environmental programs, best management practices, training programs, and engineering solutions which have benefited the environment and the local community.

You’ll note that they recently changed the Hotel name from “Doubletree Resort Lodge & Spa” to “Doubletree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton.” The signs were changed last week.

From what I’ve heard the Hilton mothercorp wasn’t very pleased with the word “Lodge” (despite the fact that it looks fairly lodge-like).
