The Uprising, a “a program exclusively for students in Grades 6, 7 and 8″ out of Welland, is planning a trip to Niagara Falls today (it was posted yesterday):
Just a reminder that Dino Golf is tomorrow! We are LEAVING Faith Tabernacle at 6:30pm and heading to Niagara Falls (Clifton Hill) to do the dino mini golf. We’re stopping at Dairy Queen afterwards, so bring some ice-cream money with you!
I hope they have a good time!
It looks like the Hilton is now working on the 43rd floor (only 10 more to go).

Note, I took this picture yesterday when I said how beautiful a day it was…

I noticed a couple of months ago that there was a new logo for the former Super Hero Adventure City on Falls Ave. It is now just called Adventure City. I didn’t post about it as I was waiting for signs to change. Well, there has only been 1 sign changed to date.
You can see from this picture, that there used to be a sign that they had to blank out (see the left of the picture).

They have taken that sign out and put in the new logo for Adventure City.

There is nothing different inside. The web site has new names for everything, but everything inside still looks like it did before. The Marvel names are gone, and the signs are just blank. The only thing that looks a little different is the Spider-Man ride. They are actually working on it. It isn’t open yet, but there has been some theming changes. Who knows when it will open…
Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls (with some pictures):
We took the kids to see The Falls while we were away. Avery and I had been a couple of weeks before on her school trip. She had never been until this year. It was busy with tourists even though it was an overcast, dreary day. We went through the Funhouse and played games at the Midway on Clifton Hill even though they cost an arm and a leg. (Geez, I heard that a few times from my mom while growing up) We finished off our time in Niagara Falls by eating lunch at Planet Hollywood. It was also a good day.
