From the Sydney Morning Herald:
Ten metres from the crest of Niagara Falls. Just 10 more metres and we’d all be tumbling over the top in the same second as 600,000 litres of water. The gasps of onlookers are muffled by the roar of the river, racing to the rim at 100kmh, as I wonder what … “Hey, buddy,” shouts a man from behind. “Would you take our picture? Right there, right where you’re standing.”
And I have just won my way to the fence. A spot at the front of the throng at Table Rock, where a 19th-century stone fence and just 10 metres of scrub are between spectators and the brink of Horseshoe Falls - Canada’s piece of this phenomenon that attracts more than 13 million visitors a year.
Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
That old Vaudeville line always reminds me of my Dad, though it’s in I Love Lucy and a Three Stooges skit too. All the authors / relayers of that line have one thing in common though - a reference to Niagara Falls. As you (should) know from reading my previous posts, Andrew and I took a few days earlier this week and drove to the gorgeous, romantic region for a break away from family and work. Sorry guys, we love ya, but we needed it!
From the Niagara Falls Review:
It’s always fun to watch people take risks.
But what about taking some of your own?
“No way. Not that high. I’m too scared,” said Matt Peat, a 12-year-old St. Catharines resident, moments after watching Dean Sullivan rappell 300 feet off a crane, face forward, without a breaking system.
“I’m better over here, on the ground” said Peat.
Sullivan was just one of the attractions at this weekend’s Daredevil Days festival in downtown Niagara Falls.

Someone with a Blogger blog has posted about an upcoming reunion in Niagara Falls. I can’t tell specifically what group the reunion is for, but they will be meeting up at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel.
From News 10 Now (in Syracuse):
