Lethal Weapon back for Labour Day rally

    From Niagara This Week:

Actor-turned-activist Danny Glover was looked to as a lethal weapon by labour leaders during a rally outside of Canadian Niagara hotels on Labour Day.

Glover, a labour rights activist and actor best known for his role as Los Angeles police sergeant Roger Murtaugh alongside Mel Gibson in the Lethal Weapon movies, came to Niagara Falls to attend the solidarity rally by Unite Here Canada, a union which represents hospitality and some trade workers, to protest the management’s treatment of employees at the three hotels owned by Canadian Niagara Hotels: Sheraton-on-the-Falls, Brock Plaza and the Skyline Inn.

The group assembled at the corner of Hunter and Union streets and marched to the front of the Sheraton-on-the-Falls hotel.
