They’re running for water worldwide

    From the Niagara Falls Review:

They’ve been running around the world for water for the past three months and on Tuesday, they breezed by Niagara Falls where more than six million cubic feet of water flows over the Horseshoe Falls every minute during peak hours.

A team of 20 international citizen runners representing 13 countries have been trotting around the globe since June to raise money to help alleviate the burden placed on more than a billion people who, every day, must drink unsafe local water or travel long distances on foot to search for it.

Running relay-style for 24 hours a day seven days a week, the team arrived in Niagara Falls Tuesday. It was the 89th day of their 95-day journey.
