Bars Across America - Sat. 8/11: Hard Rock Club, Niagara Falls, ON

The person who writes the Bars Across America blog recently came to Niagara Falls

After picking up some baked goods at Tim Hortons, I proceeded down a path along the river to Niagara Falls. As I got closer, the area became more congested with peds and I had to walk. I haven’t been to the falls since I was a kid, and I’ve forgotten how amazing they are - a gigantic crescent of rushing water pouring over the top.

Notice of Application and Public Meeting

In addition to the notice of a Public Hearing on the Courtyard Marriott sign, there is also now a Notice of Application and Public Meeting sign right beside it, which refers again to the land on Clarke Ave.

The same two signs are also on the Clarke Ave property.

Tourists won’t be attracted by Liberals’ feel-good ads: Tory

From the Niagara Falls Review:

Ontario shouldn’t just “give up” on American tourists, even though there’s mounting evidence they’re not flocking to Niagara Falls and other parts of the province like they once did, says provincial Progressive Conservative Leader John Tory.

“I do understand the reasons why Americans might be travelling less than they did before. There’s no reason we can’t convince them to come back,” Tory said during a pre-election campaign stop in Niagara Falls Wednesday.
