Pictures of Marineland from Above (from the Sky Screamer platform)

When I was at Marineland a few weeks ago, I went up to the Sky Screamer platform to take some pictures and a video of Sky Screamer (which I’ll be posting soon). While I was up there, I also took several pictures of the park from that vantage point. It’s interesting seeing some of the rides from a different perspective.

As is always the case, you can see some of the thumbnails below, and view all of the thumbnails and larger pictures in the Marineland From Above gallery.

There are now 2,230 images in the Niagara Falls Image Gallery.

Antica Pizza expansion now open

I’m by here regularly, but just noticed today that the expansion to Antica Pizza is now open (I’m not sure when it officially opened).

It’s not a great picture (taken with my cell phone), but the expansion area was open, and people were inside eating. Hopefully they do more work during the off-season to make the facade look better.

Lodge Inn & Suites Near the Falls

Have they settled on a name now that there is another new sign?

Niagara Falls Tourism

From ArsCompendium:

Well, I’ve written more than a few pieces for clients on tourist spots, and I’ve usually found a fair balance between natural and man-made attractions. While planning a personal trip to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, I’ve discovered a marked imbalance.

Now, there really isn’t a whole lot to do while watching 1/5 of the world’s water crashing down in front of one, other than marvel at it. But after that hour or so passes, what’s next? It’s taken urban planners and the tourist authority several decades, but it looks like they’ve succeeding in making Niagara Falls into a man-made paradise, using the falls as a backdrop for the cheesiest kinds of “family entertainment.”
