Niagara Parks may consider falls wire walk

From Niagara This Week:

The Niagara Parks Commission said it will consider a proposal from wire walker Jay Cochrane to walk a tightrope over Niagara Falls, but it wants to see a full business plan first.

Cochrane, renowned for his wire walks, is in the city this summer performing wire walks daily near the Skylon Tower. Cochrane, 63, said it’s been a 40-year goal to cross over Niagara Falls. Cochrane, who raises money for children during his performances, said he hopes to raise half a billion dollars doing the walk.
