Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
…we planned a trip to Niagara Falls because we had promised Alex when he was younger that someday we would come back and DO Clifton Hill at night. With diesel nearing $5 a gallon, we decided to book a hotel near the Hill and just walk everywhere we went. The hotel was not exactly primo but the location was great! The sign on the back of the door said that the rates could vary from $49 a night to $599!!! Its hard to imagine anyone paying that much for that room; it was just two double beds and a little table. No refrigerator or microwave for us so we had a cooler for a kitchen.
