Demonstration outside Fallsview Casino

As I was out for my walk today, I was going up Murray Hill and there were several police cars. As I got to Fallsview Blvd, I noticed there was a very large demonstration in front of the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort. There were dozens of people blowing whistles and holding up various signs. Some of the read:

  • Don’t fold on fill-time
  • Kickin’ ass for the working class
  • All those dollars and no sense
  • Full house, not a poor house
  • Trying to live is a full-time job
  • Families helping families
  • United we stand, divided we starve
  • Keep the rat from getting fat

There was also a pickup truck with a very large blow-up rat.

  1. 1 packagemanagement!!!

I’m not a union supporter but its about time people are making noise about this place. I worked at CN and at the new casino for many years before this Art Frank guy took over, and since he has, all the staff stood their stratching their heads watchng him copy everthing that caisno rama does. i (was) an hourly employee with no skills in marketing but what i do know is that Sears cant compete with Walmart by simply copying thier flyers and putting up the same shelving! We were better off when Jay Milestrip or Larry Lewin were running the place, at least they made the place different. Maybe leadership in the casino should be given “the package” maybe then the customers will come back and we can all go back to work.

At least when Larry said “look to your left look to your right….all these people will be still here”…he was right..Art Frank might as well hired a bunch of buses and loaded his full team from Rama and brought them all down…I never seen Art once in the back of the house, we used to see Jay and Larry there…they would even eat lunch with associates. WOW..imagine that
