There isn’t much to say about clifton hill, is there.

I think we’ll see some changes this Fall.

    Huh?

I assumed Chris was just making a general observation that there hasn’t been much to discuss about Clifton Hill so far this year. If that is indeed what he was commenting on, then I agree, but there will be changes this Fall.

Yes, now that I re-read that it makes more sense. I think the changes on Clifton Hill will be many this fall/winter. Unless, its anything like last off season where it seems like nothing gets done at all. I cant remember an off season like 06-07 in the past 10 years. I think Quality Inn is coming down isnt it? What about the other side of the street anything?

Yeah it looks like Clifton Hill be the place for construction this fall now that we think of it. Usually we see the south side getting all the new things and I thought that it would be only the north side getting the renos this time, but I forgot that Quality is coming down.

So it looks like we will see Quality come down, Bronto’s finish up and the Hilltop Motel building undergo much needed renovations. Apart from that, there are very few pieces that need to be fixed up. I hope the construction eventually sprawls onto Centre and Victoria; there are a few eyesores there.

Yopu are right about the no changes done to clifton hill, but also what i meant is if the prices were going down anytime soon. They would get way more people if the prices weren’t that high.

Hey!, how come no one, including the press, I think, has talked about the new Niagara Centre for the Performing Arts!!? It was formerly Kingston College, which is what everyone knows it as.. poor Pink Floyd people.. that’s why ticket sales are a bit low I think.. no one knows what the heck the Niagara Centre for the PA is.. It’s being renovated as we speak from it’s old high school decor to new paint, carpeting, wallpaper and design. The stage is in immaculate condition and the new Silver Mist Productions (which produced Disney’s Aladdin Jr. last year) will be producing a new show, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast there running Nov 23 to Dec 30 as part of the Winter Festival of Lights again (Aladdin Jr. had a remount in Nov/Dec last year as part of the festival). If you get a chance, go see the Pink Floyd concert. I hear it’s well worth it.. and maybe get a glimpse of the new reno’s! Check out http://www.silvermist.ca for info on the new Beauty and the Beast show!!

I’m sure once the summer is over, we will see some interest come along for the new centre and the show. The website is very well put together I must say, and I wish them all the best this winter. Shows are something that are missing in Niagara.

To be honest with you, i’ve seen one too many shows this summer as i just got back from W;at Disney World, Florida. They’ve got so many shows there it isn’t funny, they were really good, though, i’ll pass this year.

Sorry, W;at is a typo, supposed to be Walt.
