The Hilton is now up to about 34 floors. It looks the same height as the original building.

The hotel is actually just finished the 36th floor and starting the walls of 37. I follow your blogs and think you are doing a great job. Keep up the great work as the City of Niagara Falls is very fortunate to have someone in their community sharing this kind of information.

Thanks Vince. I’ll try to keep that straight from now on. And of course I appreciate the kind comments
Hey very cool an official reply! (:oP
Maybe Vince could answer the great dilemma, How many floors and height when finished?
Right now it looks like an eye sore. I hate to think what traffic will be like when it is done. I guess they need a fallsview view since the casino blocked it. It amazes me how fast they can building it.
very fast, smoke! holy cow, last time i saw ( maybe 2 weeks ago) it looked like dunno, 25 floors!

Another hotel with crappy paying jobs just like the rest of this god foresaken city WOOHOO.
To Vince and Vince and Joe and Anita:
Omigod! as ‘Mr. D.’ would say!!!
That’s one big hotel!
By the way, as I already told Vincenzo, I checked with the Canadian Hotel Assoc. recently and the PR lady there told me that 58 storeys, indeed, will make your hotel the tallest in Canada. Her records show that the new Hilton complex will have the fifth most rooms of hotels in Canada. She told me the other hotels but, of course, I lost the list. Anyway, Hilton will be 5th largest in number of rooms. Two of the hotels she mentioned are in Toronto and the other two are in Montreal, I think.
All the best,
Mike
If this Hilton is supposed to have around 1100 room, I can only come up with 2 in Canada that are bigger:
Delta Chelsea, Toronto – 1540 rooms
Royal York, Toronto – 1365 rooms
The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal has 1039.
Anybody know any others?
I have a list from hotels like the Sheraton, Hilton in Toronto.
Drafty I thought the Hilton was supposed to finish with somewhere in the 900’s for total rooms.
I thought I had read 1100 somewhere, but according to the vague information that is available, the existing hotel has 513 rooms and the addition is to have 486, for a total of 999, so maybe 5th does sound right.
