With all of the demolition happening at the old Pilgrim Restaurant (future East Side Mario’s?), I wondered if they were going to tear down the whole building. Well, it looks like that is NOT the case. They have added “I” beams to the top of the existing ones and so the roof will be a few feet higher than it was.
This seems like a lot of work, but then I figured it must have something to do with building permits. Since they are still using the same building, they probably didn’t need to go through all of same approval processes that a new building would have needed.
