I just received an email update from Niagara’s Fury. The “click here” link just took you to the main page of the Niagara’s Fury web site.

Spring Break in Niagara Falls

Yesterday I received a newsletter from NiagaraFallsBestHotels.com. This is a site that doesn’t seem to have any purpose other than it gets good search engine positioning, and it charges sites to be “listed” with them. The newsletter/site promotes various packages that the hotels are offering right now.

Another week, another floor done at the Hilton

I’m not sure how the floors are going to be counted, but it looks like the 13th floor is done and they are working on the 14th floor of the Hilton addition.

Convention chief trades hurricanes for Falls rainbows

From the Niagara Falls Review:

When Kerry Painter comes to town next month, she’ll find herself in a similar position to where she was five years ago when she took on the job of building a convention centre in Slidell, La.

Minus hurricane Katrina, hopefully.

Now, she’s leaving it behind to take on a new challenge as the president and general manager of the convention centre in Niagara Falls.

Painter will start in Niagara April 15, but has already been to town to meet the board of directors and to buy a home for her and her four-year-old son, Garrett.
