Late last week (Thursday or Friday I think), the Fun Pass offered for many of the Clifton Hill attractions was expanded. Prior to this, for $25, the Fun Pass used to include the following:
- Niagara SkyWheel
- Movieland Wax Museum
- Galaxy Golf or Dinosaur Park Miniature Golf
- Ghost Blasters
- Cosmic Coaster (FX ride)
- 10 or 15 tokens (I can’t remember which)
With the change the Fun Pass now is $30 and includes all of the above but also includes entrance to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum. For $5 it’s a great value as an individual admission to the museum is over $10. I guess the question is… are people willing to spend $30. For a family of 4, that is an extra $20 plus tax?

This sounds worth it as long as none of the rides included are in the former adventure city (sorry I am kind of unfamiliar with the ride names on clifton hill), as we know those rides are broken down and don’t work right. Perhaps you can give us the price after tax?
I think the package deals are the way to go. It’s similar to Disney. Paying for everything seperately is very expensive, but you save a lot when you buy a package that includes a hotel stay and park hopper pass.
that’s true dan, seperate everything is way too much, wait for the deals!
Sara, all of the rides included in the new Fun Pass are on the south side of Clifton Hill. Most of them are HOCO properties, Ripley’s isn’t.
The price for an adult is $29.95 + tax for a total of $32.51
The price for a child is $23.95 + tax for a total of $25.65
I like the package deals, would like to see more of this kind of thing going forward. I have got to imagine the package deals are the best way of promoting wax museums and things like that these days. Seems like a hard sell at 10 dollars and up otherwise. Value, value value.
Package deals are definitely worth it. Tax doesn’t add any more than it would here to those prices. I don’t know the cost per attraction but that seems like it would cost each person $40-60 if you were to do it separately, 30$ sounds like a steal. Great canadian midway tokens are expensive too, and the pass includes some of those.
It would be nice if they changed up the packages throughout the course of the year so different attractions have a chance to participate.
Its important to offer value now, with the economy crunch that people are going to be feeling even worse during summer as gas prices go higher and higher, this means more people are going to be looking for attractions that have value to them.
The reason I asked is because adventure city had a fun pass one time, and was wondering if this was the replacement for it.
There are at least 4 places around here that offer combo packages:
Ripleys (Believe It or Not musuem, Tussauds, and moving theater)
HOCO (attractions mentioned above)
Niagara Clifton Group (Fun House, Mystery Maze, Brick City, etc)
Falls Ave (as far as I know they still have the package available as most of the rides are still there, just no longer Marvel-themed)
Out of all of those, I’d say that HOCO’s pass is the best deal. Niagara Clifton Group’s pass isn’t too bad either if you like those attractions.
the thing about the NCG, the attraction and really cheesy, they make them out to be more than what they are! also, they are too much for 5-12 year olds, of course, that being said, you should be less than teen aged if you want to buy that pass.
The ripley’s attractions are my favourite by far, so many interesting things the museum, amazing displays and rooms in Tussaud’s and a fun experience in the moving theatre. very enjoyable.
same with HOCO, good attractions, but not as good as ripley’s. My opinion.
sorry, “the attractions are really cheesy”. sorry
I hate all the attractions that the Clifton Hill Group offers. They are really meant for children. I will most likely be staying this ummer and probley will do the package. I love the skywheel. IMO on of the best attractions on the hill.
Different families will find different packages appropriate so someone who is looking for a package geared towards young children might like the Niagara group’s package. The HOCO one is probably the best value since it includes attractions everyone can enjoy, who doesn’t like miniature golf and the skywheel?
i’m scared of heights, which is why i do not like skywheel.
other than that, HOCO is all good.
hey… those haunted type attractions… are they NCG or HOCO?
I would definitely pay the higher price. Wonder if down the line they will add the other two Ripley’s sites (Ripley’s Moving Theatre and Louis Tussauds)
they should, lisa, they are both really good…
I would figure they can add the two and charge $45-$50. It seems steep but think of all the attractions for that price and you can split them up for a nice weekend trip
hey I wood like to know when you buy a fun pass for the familly IT is only one turn or unlimited ride wit the fun pass … please let me know than you very much
Mary, there is no family pass. Each member of the family would need their own pass. Each pass comes with one admission to each of the listed attractions. There is no pass that I’m aware of that gives unlimited rides.
