This morning I received the latest update from Niagara’s Fury. They are asking people to guess what the attraction is.

I’ve got an idea… why don’t they tell us what it is!

Am I the only one getting annoyed by this? Its so vague -”guess what niagara’s fury is and win an i-pod”. This seems silly, and its coming off like its a stalling method for the attraction to be completed or something. Just very lame in my opinion.
listen people, i would like to know what it is, like everyone else, this is kinda good, but now we wait even longer to figure it out…
TELL US ALREADY!!!!
:S
IMO it looks like maybe a 3-d movie where you go over the falls.
GRRRRRRRRRREEEEATTT cuz we haven’t had enough of those
some guy was on ch news last week and said sumthing about it having to do with all the different kinds of weather

?
Prob be like a interactive imax type simulator thing about the formation of NF. I guess thats cool and all, but I think they are over-hyping this thing to the point where no matter what it is, will be a let down. Hope Im wrong, I want it to be a real awesome attraction.
i was just wandering around on google…found a few interesting things..apparently the pedestrian bridge tower is gonna be attached to the flower garden tower?….the new restaurant sounds pretty kewl…and a 2 storey observation deck open year round..and guess what’s going into table rock??..a store called pop and lolly…yup..a candy store!!..wow..like there’s not enuff of those in the falls either…lol
sorry if i repeated anything..but i hadn’t seen any of it mentioned yet..
oops..sorry guys..fergot sumthing…when i googled niagaras fury..i got about 6 websites with listings for it..they are all amusement park wbsites..i thought that was interesting cuz if no one knows what it is..how do they know to list it with rides and parks?

Not a ride. No motion involved. Those sites are guessing too.
The Bridge of Flowers and Clock Tower are almost complete. The new main entrance, at the end of the bridge, will feature an echo-dome ceiling.
I hope some of you are putting in your guesses… You don’t win an iPod for guessing here
Well, from Screamscape, which has been following this Niagara Fury… there is a link to the Niagara Falls Reporter, which is a free Niagara Falls USA paper out weekly, I think…
They have a cheesy on-line edition with a couple stories including the Niagara Fury:
http://www.niagarafallsreporter.com/croisdale279.html
They got a tip that suggests (but no confirmation):
“One source told me that Niagara’s Fury is a type of floating theater where an indoor waterfall surrounds visitors and a multimedia display takes place on, in and around the cascades that immerses you in the history and power of the world’s most famous waterfalls.”
They’re taunting it as a very ‘Universal-Studios-like’ experience (ie: expensive & technologically immersive). I wonder how much money they’re investing in this.
Good find Rob! That sounds doable to me. My only comment would be that I would think that would take up a lot of room, and I don’t see there being that much room there.
WOW that floating theatre thing sounds awesome! Cool, it might live up the the hype.
Screamscape is my home page, because i have a love for theme parks. i’ve checked it, and, the sources there always seem to be right, usually always right, even when the official sites havn’t announced anything, which is nice to see.
basically what i read is like it’s an indoor floating theatre? i don’t understand fully…
That sounds like something I would go out of my way to see.
Just tell us what it is Niagara Parks. Nothing your organization really does is a surprise.
lol
absolutely agree… its been about a month and the only thing possible is…
“One source told me that Niagara’s Fury is a type of floating theater where an indoor waterfall surrounds visitors and a multimedia display takes place on, in and around the cascades that immerses you in the history and power of the world’s most famous waterfalls.”
