Yet another Marineland Topple Tower update

I was at Marineland again on Friday and they are making progress with Topple Tower. As you can see by the first picture, a fence has been put in and they are doing some landscaping.

The second picture is one I took from up at the Sky Screamer platform. All you can see of Topple Tower is the top of the ride.

Also, it appears that the recent batch of maps that they hand out at the gate have been updated. Beside Topple Tower it used to say Opening Soon on the drawing of the park, and now there is nothing beside it.

The map key/legend now says that the Topple Tower is NEW.

Last week I contacted Ann Marie Rondinelli, the Marineland Marketing Office Manager, and she said that there was still no definite date for it to open, but to check back with her in a week. I’ll try again later this week.

I love the second shot, I didn’t realize how forest like parts of Marineland are. So many amusement parks are very manicured. Is there anyway you could post a map of all of Marineland? I haven’t seen what it looks like in years.

I felt the same way about the “forest like parts”. I’ve got a bunch of pictures I took from the Sky Screamer platform, and it really is amazing how nice the park is from above. I’ll be posting the pictures later in the week.

I’ll try to either scan the map or take a picture of it.

I agree, the park is very nice and neat. I’ve been going for a long time now and it hasn’t changed. Still lots of trees, and wide pathways, cars drive on them (workers). The Topple Tower is progressing, on the 20th of July I went and they were putting in scenery, (paving, plants, etc.).

Dan, if you havn’t gone back in a long time, go and check it out. The deal they have is 5 dollars for a season’s pass plus the admission price. It’s worth it.

Graham, please post the answer to this question:

When was the last time you went to Marineland????

  5. 5 Graham

Monday, July 23, 2007 from approximately 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm

    Why?

Were you there on july 20 also? Cause if you were, I probably missed you as I was there too.

I guess there isn’t much to say about this subject anymore. All I want is for MarineLand’s website to actually say something about the ride. I asked a guy at Sky Hawk and He said it should be open by August 1. They really should just plan an opening day.

Also, the reason why they are slow with new rides is because the park is family-owned and the crew they use isn’t the best. But hey, at least they have a crew.

I was at Marineland today and had a chance to ride the finally opened Topple Tower. I am sad to say it was actually a pretty boring ride and needs to spin a little faster, but overall it was a nice addition to the park. If your interested in seeing video of it running,

Hey fallsview, i was also at marineland for the 6th time yesterday, that pass is great. Anyway i might of missed you as i also went on the ride. And i thought it was a pretty amazing ride. Of course, i expected more but it still was a really great ride. Graham, go back.

I did love it Chris! I guess I was hoping it would spin you around a little faster, but I can’t complain about having a theme park 10 minutes from my home with what I think is a pretty good selection of rides… and I still love Dragon Mountain!

Everone loves dragon mountain, it was just closed the last time i was there. I guess that guy i asked was right about when it should open, he said august 1st, i ws there, dragon’s mountain was closed but topple tower was open. i first noticed it on sky screamer since i was on that aroun 11:40 am. I got a little excited and ran down the mountainside. i also fell.
