From the Niagara Falls Review:
It’s amazing. It’s great. And the fact he does so much to help children around the world makes his death-defying feat all that much more spectacular.
Those were just a few of the comments made by spectators Thursday afternoon as they watched wirewalker Jay Cochrane make the first of his 20-storey walks this summer in the Fallsview district near the Skylon Tower.
Even though it was sunny and a bit windy when Cochrane stepped onto the wire shortly after 4 p.m., the clouds began to roll in and a few drops of rain began to fall just as he stepped onto the platform to finish his walk.
