A popular Disney discussion board recently had someone post a question about Marvel Adventure City. He wanted to know if anyone had been and what the cost was. There weren’t a lot of responses, but it was interested to see what other people’s perceptions are. One response was:
The views from down in the gorge are incredible and it’s a once-in-a lifetime experience not to be missed.
Another person responded:
I would stay far away from Clifton Hill. It is a trashy tourist attraction IMO. It does no justice to the beautiful Niagara area.

The marvel attraction is VERY broken, I wouldn’t recommend doing any of the rides or attractions there as they all have something wrong with them plus its expensive. This attraction either needs a major overhaul or just regular maintenance.
Half of the time there are no attendants in this place or the rides are shut down. The arcade games in there are some of the most broken I have ever seen in my life with clearly missing buttons, pieces of games falling off, and most coin slots have tape over them. Don’t feed the tourist trap, this is a place that is clearly designed to take your money and give you nothing but a broken experience in return.
The first year I went there was the first year it opened and it was OK, the rides were up and running, arcade games not broken etc.. but it has deteriorated horribly since them. I can only assume they operate everything and do not do any maintenance on it whatsoever.
I would go with what other people said in that thread, while the great Canadian Midway does have some broken arcade games (what place doesn’t) it sounds like they are keeping up with the 2 rides they have in there, go on those instead at least you know you will get a ride that is working properly. If you have a problem it may take a while to find an attendant to refund money but they are there.
I haven’t ventured in for awhile, I’ve always enjoyed Midway more. However last time I was in the Midway I felt there were too many duplicates/variations of the same games. It would be interesting to see a few video games inside. I remember when the Skylon had a 6-person X-Men game, can’t quite remember the name, but it was so much fun when I was younger
The Skylon’s biggest strength is that they have a wide variety of types of games, not 5x of the same game like Dave and Busters. I mean Dave and Busters the last time I was there had Time Crisis 3 and 4 with multiple of 4 and there really isn’t any need for that when they could be populating it with a larger variety of genre’s of games. Last year when I went to the Midway they did have a wide variety but you had to look in the more hidden spots to find the different types of machines (Don’t forget about the upstairs floor!). I’ve seen that 6 player x-men game around too and its pretty cool
