From the Niagara Falls Review:
An electrical fire forced about 200 guests to evacuate Great Wolf Lodge early Monday evening.
Patrons stood in front of the Victoria Avenue hotel for about three hours after a “major electrical fire” broke out inside a massive electrical panel system shortly after 6 p.m.
Platoon chief Jim Bredin said all 27 members of the Niagara Falls fire department on duty responded to the call, and helped aid in the evacuation of patrons.
Niagara Falls Hydro also responded and quickly switched off the main source of power so firefighters could get the fire under control. No one was reported injured in the incident. About 100 families on the third and fourth floors of the south wing had to be relocated to another hotel.
