Greg Frewin is an accomplished magician who is from the Stoney Creek area of Ontario. He has been performing magic for years, and this year has come to Niagara Falls.
The newest attraction to Niagara Falls, The Greg Frewin Theatre, a 700 seat dinner theatre centrally located at top of Clifton Hill, will present Las Vegas shows nightly.
A magic review show starring “The International Grand Champion of Magic” Greg Frewin. Greg earned his title by winning first place in all of the World’s top magic competitions, a feat that has never been duplicated by any magician. He has gone on to appear on many of the World’s top stages such as The Flamingo Hilton, Caesar’s Palace and the Tropicana in Las Vegas, The Crystal Palace Casino in Nassau, Bahamas and has been featured in over 35 TV specials around the world.
We stopped by today to take some pictures of the building (we’ll post those later) and Robert Wolf, the building manager, came out to talk to us. He gave us a quick tour of the building and told us a little of what was going on.
- There is a 700+ seat theatre
- There is a bar/lounge area in the lobby
- The crowds haven’t been as big as they were hoping for, but the response of those who have been there has been great. They are expecting that the word will spread and more people will come.
- There are 4 large cats (cougar, tiger, etc) and many exotic birds that are part of the show
Robert (who is married to Greg’s sister) was very friendly and said it was too bad that we hadn’t been there just a few minutes earlier as we could have met both Greg, and the head chef.

I was blown away by the quality of this show. As a resident of Ontario I’ve always had this “tacky” image of many of the attractions in Niagara Falls. Don’t get me wrong..they can be fun but many of the Clifton Hill attractions are not what they promise.
I assumed the Greg Frewin show would be one of these and but decided to check it out anyway. I was way wrong as they really put on an amazing Las Vegas style of show. I’m wondering if others are thinking the same thing and not checking the show out. I also agree that word of mouth will eventually sell this show as all I’ve heard are positive comments.
