Historical Weather Data

I’ve posted previously about some sites where you can get weather information on Niagara Falls. One of those sites was for the Weather Network. I just noticed that on their main forecast page, they also have a Historical Data option. You can choose a date over the last few years and see what the weather was on that day. In case anyone is interested, it was 28° C on my birthday last year.

Hotels on the Skylon property

While looking at the SkyscraperCity Forums, I noticed that poster domer248 posted a picture of what the proposed hotels on the Skylon Tower property will look like.

The architects also have more information on some of the redevelopment.

Tallest Building in Niagara

As we posted recently, Canadian Niagara Hotels is planning a 229m hotel on their property. There is a discussion of this going on in the ScyscraperCity Forums.

I looked around the site a bit, and noticed they have all sorts of information on skyscrapers in major cities. There is a page for Niagara Falls, as well as a nice diagram page that shows all (or most) of the large buildings in the area.

Get Lost! at the Mystery Maze

Yesterday we went to the Mystery Maze on Oneida Lane, just off Clifton Hill. It is owned and operated by the Haunted House, Brick City, Fun House, Guinness people.

Front of Mystery Maze

The attraction isn’t very large, and it doesn’t take very long to get through (it took us 7 minutes). But it was fun and we wanted to go back in. I think it would be good if, since it is such a quick attraction, for the price of admission you got to go in twice. Once to figure the place out, and a second time to go as fast as you can. Both trips combined would take less than 15 minutes.

Admission is $6.99 for children and $7.99 for adults.

You can see a few pictures of Mystery Maze in the gallery.
