Someone with a Live Journal blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
Woke up Monday morning early and got ready for the day. Left Derek sleep a little longer while I got ready and then we left about 1030am to start our walk out to Clifton Hill. That’s the tourist area that we missed last year. We spent all day at Clifton Hill, went to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum, the Louis Tussaud’s Wax museum and Movieland wax museum, played putt-putt mini golf, rode the Skywheel (giant enclosed ferris wheel that goes up 175ft) and got our hands casted in wax. White wax, filled with wax so they are solid and not hollow like you could get…. glazed and ready for Daddy to paint “1st Year Anniversary Derek & Samantha 07/07/07” on it or something like that. If the place we did it at did the lettering it was 40cents PER LETTER. Holey kau! So yeah, Daddy’s gonna do it for us. 😉 After we finished up at Clifton Hill, we walked back to the hotel and went out to dinner at Red Lobster (yeah yeah it’s normal for us, not a “new” restaurant we can be disappointed at) and came back to the hotel to go BACK out to Clifton Hill to pick up our wax hands.
