From Niagara This Week:
John Lohuis is a busy man.
He had to push back a scheduled interview for this story to accommodate an early morning meeting. When he was done, he was off to another. Such is the life of the Niagara Parks Commission’s new general manager.
The former Director of Parks and Recreation took over from Fay Booker, who resigned from the position last February.
For Lohuis, who began his NPC duties on August 1, his new duties don’t present much of a change from his Mississauga job.
“I had two golf courses, two marinas and 5,000 acres of parks to look after,” Lohuis said. “So this isn’t much different.”
