From the Niagara Falls Review:
Two things are certain for Niagara Concerts’ 35th season: Every show is already sold out and every show will look a whole lot better.
The sell-outs are nothing new: Niagara Concerts has been on an unprecedented roll the past few years, with most of the 1,000 season subscriptions snatched up months in advance.
But the biggest difference will be a new lighting system installed at the Niagara Centre for the Performing Arts, thanks to a $15,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Now, instead of a skimpy, outdated system with 14 sockets, the company can illuminate performers with a high-tech 70-socket system.
“Our flexibility for lighting is going to skyrocket,” says Niagara Concerts treasurer and general manager John Anstruther. “From the technical side of things, (artists) are going to be a lot more happy.”
