Things have certainly slowed down now that Labour Day is past. I hope to be able to keep posting 4-6 things a day through September, but at some point it is definitely going to slow down. I think last year I was posting 1-3 a day through the winter. We’ll see what happens this year.
As for upcoming posts, I’ve still got some posts to get caught up on (I’ve had drafts saved for months), and I also have the following to come at some point over the next month or two:
- May - August stats report
- Trip to Brick City
- Trip to Bronto’s Adventure Playland
- Trip to Dinosaur Park
- Trip to Fun House
- Trips to Marineland
- Trips to various Niagara Parks Commission sites
- Niagara Falls Trading Cards
- Posts about a couple of books
- Updated blog theme
- Updates to the main part of the site (i hope for this every year, but never actually get to it)
As always, all I ask of you is that you keep visiting the site, and bring your friends
From the Niagara Falls Review:
Leonardo Najle has worked in kitchens in the United States, Brazil and his native Argentina.
But on his first trip to Canada, the 35-year-old executive chef at the Iguazu Grand Hotel Resort and Casino is choosing to call Niagara Falls home – at least during his two-week stay.
Najle is one of about 25 Argentineans taking part in a visit to Niagara Falls to promote their own parks region – complete with Iguazu Falls, which border both Argentina and and Brazil.
He and Niagara Parks Commission Executive Corporate Chef Paul Pennock have worked together to create a menu of Argentine delights, including empanadas with chimichurri sauce, grilled lamb with Malbec wine sauce and panqueque con dolce de leche.
The empanadas, Pennock said, have been especially popular at both Elements on the Falls and at Edgewaters, the two Parks Commission restaurants taking part in the Celebrate Cultures event.
“We thought we made enough for a week,” Pennock said, “but we’re making more every day.”
I’m not sure how long this has been playing for, but recently a new sign was put up for a movie at the MGM Studios 4D Theatre.

The site explains it in this way:
This chilling 4-D adventure takes you on a quest through the frozen arctic. Huddled in the warmth of your “Icedozer”, this rocket-fueled expedition barrels through the grueling terrain of our ice-making planet. You’ll journey along a dangerous iced ravine through an isolated passage, climb up steep mountains, and meander through curved tunnels passing remote Inuit villages to finally arrive at your mysterious destination. An extreme mission meant only for true adventurers.
Note: For your information, the theatre is also showing SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D Ride and Dino Island II 3D.
I know, I know, not terribly exciting… but the new Montana’s sign I posted about over two months ago is finally showing messages:

Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
Hubby, of all the people (usually not in the least bit adventurous), has his heart set on going out again, to Clifton Hill, the fun busy full of life-and-lights and ferris wheels, cotton candy and fluff, main street off of the Falls.
