From Niagara This Week:
Anita Miller said she remembers Niagara Falls as a Norman Rockwell painting.
Her husband, Willard, remembers an Eaton’s at one end of the downtown and Rosenberg’s department store at the other. There were even two theatres.
During a historical walking tour on Sunday, a crowd of about 120 could imagine what Niagara Falls used to be like.
Sherman Zavitz, the tour guide, told walkers about prosperous times in downtown Niagara Falls, from the time the bridge was erected over the gorge to the present day.
He said the town of Clifton, as Niagara Falls was once called, had hotels on Bridge Street. One businessman, Joseph Woodruff, owner of the oldest business block still standing, was appointed postmaster.

is anything original here? it seems like it’s just links to newspaper sources.
Look around Kent. There are videos I’ve taken, pictures I’ve taken, postings about various attractions and hotels, etc. I do of course post links to all-things Niagara Falls, but that is just part of it.
Feel free to leave Kent if you don’t like what u see.
Instead we should be welcoming Kent to stay and recommend to him certain posts, comments, pictures, or videos for him to view. We want to encourage more people to join the community…
I get defensive about this site. My apologies Graham.
