Chamber survey reveals disappointment with casinos’ impact on city

Niagara Falls has not experienced the kind of benefits from hosting casinos the province of Ontario promised and the government should re-evaluate its casino policies, a survey conducted by the Niagara Falls Chamber of Commerce suggests.

“I don’t feel the community is getting the bang for the buck that it should, but I totally understand where the casino is coming from,” said Jeff Wallis, a former chairman of the chamber, whose sign company has done a lot of work for the casinos over the years.
