Another in my series on keycards…
I’m not sure which hotel this is for, but I found a Travelodge keycard the other day. The toll free number is for the central reservations line for the entire chain. There isn’t anything that is specific to any hotel.
Apples to Apples is a fun game that my wife’s parents first told us about. Everyone who plays has several cards in their hand with words on them that are nouns (people or places). Then a card is put on the table that is an adjective, and each person who is playing the game puts one of their noun cards down on the table that they think is described by the adjective. Once everyone has put in a card, one player is the “judge”, and the fun begins. You are supposed to try to convince the judge that your card is best. You can talk up your card or put down someone else’s card, even when a card might not fit at all with the word (remember, it is the luck of the draw, and you may have nothing that matches).
Anyway, the other day we were playing it, and I ended up with a Niagara Falls card.
Cirque Niagara’s Avaia is finishing up its run in Toronto and is promoting its return to Niagara Falls. Recently, I received a Valpak (one of those envelopes full of coupons) promoting Avaia to the local community.
