From the Niagara Falls Review:
It’s now the home of the Niagara Parks Police, but from 1926 to 1982, the stone building on the Niagara River Parkway in the heart of Queen Victoria Park was the seat of administration for the Niagara Parks Commission.
“It has one of the best views of the American Falls you will ever get and that’s part of the reason why it was built there,” said Jim Hill, superintendent of heritage for the Niagara Parks Commission.
While it might not be very modern by today’s standards, Hill said the police officers who work there seem to like it because it’s located between Clifton Hill and Murray Hill – the hub of all tourist activity.
