Americans Won’t ‘Jump Hoops’ for Special ID to Cross Borders

    The battle to stop a U.S. plan which threatens to cripple tourism in Niagara isn’t over yet and may still be winnable.

    That was the consensus among business and political leaders who met in the Queen’s Landing hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake Friday to discuss how to address new U.S. legislation that will soon mean anyone travelling to the United States will need a passport or some form of secure identification.
