$9 entrance for locals to Fallsview Waterpark

I forgot to mention ths earlier in the week…

I saw an ad in Saturday’s Niagara Falls Review for the Fallsview Waterpark. It said on from May 16 - 18 (Tuesday to Thursday of this week), locals could pay $9 to go to the Fallsview Waterpark with the proceeds going to charity. Apparently all you need to do is bring proof of residence in the Niagara Region.

It seems like a good way for them to use the waterpark during the middle of the week before the summer starts.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that you had to buy your tickets ahead of time. I called them today. They said the price is $45 otherwise!!! No thanks, I\’d rather go to Wonderland.

I just called and the woman said you had to buy them in advance. I questioned her on it saying that I didn’t think it said that in the ad, and she said she’d check. She came back and told me they were sold out.

    $45 seems very pricey!

    One more clarification…

I thought I had saved the ad, but couldn’t find it. Well, I found it this morning and scanned it:

The instructions at the bottom say:

Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Hershey Store, 5685 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls from Friday May 12th to Monday May 15th between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 pm.
Maximum 10 tickets per person. An adult must accompany children under the age of 16.

Note also that the $44.95 is the regular price, but there will be a residents rate from now until June 22:

For those residents who are unable to attend Fallsview Waterpark Charity Days, Fallsview Indoor Waterpark will ofer day passes for only $19.95 from now to June 22
    (proof of residency required).
