Market Niagaras as one, group told

    From the Niagara Falls Review:

Visitors to Niagara crave the cross-border experience and the tourism industry on both sides of the river should start promoting the region as one international destination, says Arlene White, executive director of the Binational Tourism Alliance.

“The Niagara Falls bureau on state side will be the first ones to tell you that 60 per cent of the people who visit Niagara Falls, N.Y., want the two-country experience,” said White.

She said with an “iconic” destination like Niagara, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing the region is “unflappable.”

“Today, there’s a much more educated global travel community, and with emerging markets like Australia and China, we have to remain on our toes.”
