In a previous posting, regular visitor NiagaraRedSox commented that I should add some new features to the website:
Hey Graham…have you ever considered having write ups and opinions on restaurants/hotels here in the niagara region on the site? Maybe like a forum area of the site exclusive to the niagara region’s hotels, retaurants, attractions….like tripadvisor but exclusive to niagara??
Rather than answer in a comment, I’ll do so in a new posting so more people are likely to read it.
Yes, I have considered all those things. Unfortunately, the only money I earn from the site is from the Google ads I have on the pages. And even then from this site I only earn about $30-$40 a month (I earn a little more from other sites I have). I basically cover my web hosting plan and that’s about it. I’d love to add more features, but it is a matter of time and money. I work full time and often don’t go on the computer at all when I go home. It’s all I can do to keep up with the postings.
Now don’t take this the wrong way… I love doing this. I’m not complain at all. It’s just that there are limits to what I can do right now.
I will tell you that I am trying to work on the main part of the site. I have a new design (that I’m still tweaking). Once I get that done and add more content (it’ll still be months before I get to all of this), then maybe I’ll add more areas to the site.
Until then, feel free to leave in a comment good resources that you’ve used to get information on Niagara Falls hotels, restaurants and attractions…
