The Pen Centre in St. Catharines (a huge shopping mall) puts out a newsletter called the PenLetter that they place around the mall. The January 2006 issue highlights Greg Frewin’s appearance with Santa Claus:

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
The magic of the season was never more evident than at the Pen Centre on Saturday, November 19th. Santa miraculously appeared at Santaland in Sears Court, thanks to the fantastic magic of Greg Frewin. Greg Frewin, know as “The International Grand Champion of Magic”, put on one of his amazing displays of magic as Santa arrived directly from the North Pole. The show dazzled visitors of all ages. To help celebrate the season, the Pen Centre gave away six family show passes to the Greg Frewin Dinner Theatre plus a grand prize of a family pass to the theatre plus two nights deluxe accomodation along with two free breakfasts at the beautiful Clarion President Hotel and Suites by the Falls. And because Christmas is a time of giving, visitors could purchase admissions to the Greg Frewin Theatre in Niagara Falls and they donated a percentage to the St. Catharines Hospital Foundation. Santa’s arrival officially kicked off the festive season at the Pen Centre. Marketing Director Rick Woodward said “This event has become a Niagara tradition. The Pen Centre is always thrilled to usher in the holiday season with a special event in which the entire community can participate.”
