I mentioned last week that there were some changes happening at Lodge Inn & Suites again. Well, it looks like they have changed their name again. The main part of the building will be part of Baymont Inn & Suites. The smaller motel part looks like it will stay as Lodge Inn & Suites.
A month ago I posted about the motel being torn down on Ferry St beside Al Macs. Now the abandoned house across the street and beside the Capri has been torn down.
I mentioned a couple of months ago that Boccelli’s might be for sale. Well, the restaurant is closed right now undergoing renovations. There are also renovations being done on the main Lodge Inn & Suites building, as well as the motel portion.

A couple of weeks ago they erected the crane on the job site of the new Niagara Convention & Civic Center and have been making steady progress on the foundation of the building. They are also working in the back of the property on the parking lot that will enter off Dunn Street.
