Convention centre cash to survive election outcome

    From the Niagara Falls Review:

The government of Canada’s $35-million contribution toward the Niagara Convention and Civic Centre’s construction should survive whatever result occurs in the Oct. 14 election.

None of the candidates running to be the Member of Parliament for Niagara Falls said they would do anything to change the arrangement between the city of Niagara Falls and the federal government.

“This is pretty solid. I can’t imagine anyone would want to change that,” said Rob Nicholson, the Conservative MP for Niagara Falls who announced the funding more than a year ago.
