Casino Niagara to remain open

From Niagara This Week:

Niagara Falls will be home to two casinos for the foreseeable future.

That’s according to Niagara Falls MPP Kim Craitor, who said the 16-year-old gaming facilty — the city’s first — will remain open.

And not only will the casino remain in operation, Craitor said the government and the Falls Management Company, which operates both Casino Niagara and the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, are looking at ways to increase business at the former.

“We have some very talented people — some of them are here today — in Niagara Falls,” Craitor said. “Give me ideas and how we can better market it.”

  1. This is great news. I still think opening a casino in Toronto will be devastating to both Casino Rama and the casinos in the falls.

I would like to see a new operator to put competition between Casino Niagara and Fallsview as suggested from many people.
