   Seeing the Romano’s mentioned in this ad reminded me of something that I wanted to share with the family.
   We had thoughts the other day of trying the East Side Marios at the ‘Ramada’ and I went online to check the menu. Prices seemed high, so I compared them against the ESM in St.Catharines (I was actually very surprised that prices were listed on their sites, most restaurants in Niagara Falls don’t for obvious reasons). Anyway, here is a sampling of prices, with NF first and St.C second:
   Tettrazizi -$19.99 $15.49
   Cappelletti – $19.99 $13.99
   Veal Parmigiana – $24.99 $17.99
   Half Chicken – $17.99 $12.99
   Striploin – $28.99 $20.99

   I was not only flabergasted, but downright enraged that this kind of outrageous exploitation is taking place. I don’t understand how the franchiser (Prime Restaurants in this case) allows this kind of blatant ripoff to happen. I knew it was happening in Niagara Falls, but didn’t realize that it was this drastic. Is there any wonder why people who live here go out of town to eat?

   Thanks for the info on East Side Mario’s!!

   After ESM closed at the Falls, we found the one at St. Catharines and the one at Burlington in the Mall and ate at either one of these depending where we were at the time. Most of the time we just drove to St. Catharines from Falls.

   Well….taking into account your diligent work, we will continue enjoying ESM at St. Catharines!!!
