Falls, other landmarks will go dark Saturday
From the Buffalo News: The cataracts at Niagara Falls, normally illuminated at night by floodlights, will go dark from 8:30 to 9:30 Saturday in honor of Earth Hour, a worldwide effort to draw attention to climate change. The event urges individuals, businesses and organizations to turn off all non-essential lights.
