As Scotttoronto pointed out, TripAdvisor has posted their Top 10 Dirtiest Hotels in Canada (based on the reviews on their site). There are 2 in Niagara Falls, 2 in the Greater Toronto Area, and 3 Howard Johnson hotels. Neither of the hotels in Niagara Falls are a big brand.

I haven’t read the trip advisor article yet. But I can guarantee one of the motels (I won’t name names) is on Lundy’s Lane in close proximity to the Americana. At work we have been following the trip advisor listing for this hotel. Also number of other rat hole hotels and restaurants for a few years (mostly for a good laugh).
I hope they do an article on the worst buffet restaurants in Canada. There are 2 in Niagara Falls we follow at work (on the trip advisor site). The reviews for them again provide us with loads of entertainment. The buffet that consistently gets the worst reviews (the most entertaining) would shock most area residents. That is unless you actually ate there.
