From the Niagara Gazette:

Published reports about plans to shoot another motion picture in the Falls came as news to Mayor Paul Dyster on Thursday.

Although an article appearing in The Hollywood Reporter suggested the American side of the Falls would serve as the backdrop for an upcoming film featuring Dennis Hopper, Dyster said, at this point, the city has not been approached about the project.

“As of right now, there have been no requests to film on the U.S. side,” Dyster said in reference to “A Beginner’s Guide to Endings,” a film The Hollywood Reporter described as a dark comedy penned by Jonathan Sobol, a writer with roots in the Western New York area.

Dyster said it was his understanding that filming related to the project may be done nearby, but that the work would likely occur at locations in Niagara Falls, Ont.
