Someone with a Blogger blog, and who is apparently from Niagara Falls, compares Niagara Falls with New Orleans:
My home town is Niagara Falls, Ontario. I’ve always considered it the universal hometown because just about everyone has heard of it. There has always been a carnival side to Niagara Falls, you can see it in the major touristed areas that are located just up the embankment and not far from the Falls and park itself, the major tourist area is called Clifton Hill. I jokingly refer to it as the dark side of Niagara Falls. Well, Bourbon street has that carnival atmosphere but more so.
